GUSTAV MAHLER LIED COLLECTOR’S EDITION

The “Gustav Mahler Lied Collector’s Edition” contains seven DVDs based on the “lied lab 2011: gustav mahler festival”.
It presents five programs from the creative lab and two studio productions, which impressively demonstrate the new
opportunities of cooperation between artists of different genres. The DVDs, however, do not offer mere reproductions
of the concert live performances, but a completely new kind of encounter. The songs recorded in studio quality are
combined with full screen-size visuals. This truly unique edition dedicated to Mahler’s lied oeuvre also includes a
192-pages publication with texts accompanying the seven programs of the “Lied Collector’s Edition” as well as
photographs and portraits of the artists who participated in the “lied lab 2011: gustaver mahler festival” at
ORF RadioKulturhaus.
